Hohoho! Is that the sound of a sleigh we can hear? Wait no, it’s Arriva’s X12 bus! Pop down to Teesside Park for Arriva’s Festive Fun Day where little ones can meet Father Christmas and enjoy Christmas crafts free of charge. Don’t forget your phone to snap a treasured selfie with Santa!
Eat, drink and be merry with family-friendly festive menus

Come together for sitdown celebrations with everyone you love. Pizza Express has a kids’ menu of dough Balls, pizza, pasta or salad, a dessert, a Bambinoccino and Piccolo Activity Pack, all for £7.95 with special festive cocktails, Dough Balls in Blankets and more for grown-ups or for warming ramen, rice and noodles, gather together at wagamama.
TGI Fridays have a Christmas menu filled with Cajun Claus mac’n’cheese, Santa’s Smashed Burger and kids eat free with their Stripes Rewards.
Enjoy must-see Christmas movies at Showcase Cinema De Lux
This year is set to be one of the most exciting times for family movies with Wicked (22 November), Moana 2 (27th November) and Mufasa: The Lion King (20th December) all coming to the big screen at Showcase Cinema De Lux. They’re also showing event cinema including The Royal Ballet’s Cinderella on 3rd December. Make sure you book in for a great day out.

Do some relaxed late-night shopping and travel stress-free
Teesside Park is open late on weekdays until 9am-9pm from 2 December. Christmas Eve, close at 8pm*; Boxing Day, 9am-6pm; New Year’s Eve, close at 8pm*.
It’s super easy for families to get here. The 36, 37 and 38 Stagecoach bus services connect with Billingham, Norton and Hartlepool while Arriva’s 16 bus runs between Middlesborough, Teesside Park, Thornaby and Ingleby Barwick (find out more here). There are over 4,000 parking spaces at Teesside Park, including dedicated disabled and parent-and-child parking bays. Customers can enjoy up to four hours of free parking in the main retail car park (find out more here).
