Whether it’s enjoying a catch up over dinner and cocktails with friends, indulging in a bit of after-hours retail therapy or sitting back, relaxing and enjoying a movie, it’s time to seize the moment and enjoy an evening out at Teesside Park.

With stores open until 8pm, and many restaurants and leisure operators open until 10 or 11pm, we’ve got plenty to tempt you with.

To help with your planning, we’ve created our guide to making the most of your time.

1. Turn up the heat at Nando’s

Head to Nando’s to taste its legendary flame-grilled PERi-PERi chicken dishes and mouth-watering sides.

If you’re after a lighter bite, its new summer menu offers a host of plant-based options including the Rainbow Bowl, which features spiced grains, rainbow slaw, long-stem broccoli, pickled golden carrot with houmous and a sprinkle of seeds. Yum!

2. Get a taste of Italy at Pizza Express

While a holiday abroad might be out of reach this summer, Pizza Express is serving up its delicious menu of Italian favourites that are sure to bring a taste of Italy to Teesside.

It’s the perfect stylish spot to meet up with friends, and with its vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options, it really does have something for everyone!

If you’ve something to celebrate, the drinks menu shouldn’t be overlooked. Choose from an array of cocktails and spritzers, Italian wines or prosecco, and there are non-alcoholic tipples too.

3. Make every night a Friday night

With flowing cocktails and charismatic bartenders, every night feels like a Friday night at TGI Fridays! Choose from a whole host of amazing cocktail creations, from a Pornstar Martini and Tequila Sunrise to a Moscow Mule, Old Fashioned or Paloma. Pair them with a freshly made to order flame-grilled burger or tender 28-day aged seasoned steak and make it a night to remember.

There are also plenty of fun no and low alcohol cocktails on offer, from a Grapefruit Seltzer to a Ginless Garden, as well as fish and vegetarian food options to cater to all.

4. Make room for a sweet treat at Hotel Chocolat

The store is also home to a specialist café where shoppers can take a break and indulge in a variety of hot chocolates, Coffee Chocolat Lattes, ice cream and ‘teaolat’ - a tea infusion that blends herbs, spices and cacao shells.
