Mini Pride comes to Teesside Park
Teesside Park is proud to be partnering with Curious Arts to host Mini Pride — a joyful, inclusive and family-friendly event taking place on Tuesday 22nd July, marking the start of the school summer holidays.
Designed especially for children aged 3–7 and their families, Mini Pride is all about celebrating love, creativity and community in a relaxed, welcoming environment.
From 10am–12pm and 1pm–3pm, families are invited to drop by our Summer Social space (outside Primark) for a vibrant line-up of activities, including:
- Craft workshops led by LGBTQIA+ artists
- Inclusive storytelling
- A colouring station
- Dress up box
Mini Pride is produced by Curious Arts, a North East-based LGBTQIA+ arts and youth charity. The event takes place at Teesside Park just before Stockton Pride, also organised by Curious Arts, which runs on the 25th and 26th of July.
While Mini Pride is free to attend, an optional £3 donation per child is encouraged to support Hart Gables, a charity providing vital mental health support, advocacy, and safe spaces for LGBTQ+ individuals across the Tees Valley.
Sessions operate on a drop-in basis, with capacity limited to 30 children at a time — so we recommend arriving early to avoid disappointment!
