Stagecoach Electric Bus Launch & Family Fun Day

Celebrate the launch of Stagecoach’s brand-new all-electric buses with a fun-filled family day out at Teesside Park on Saturday 24th May, 11am – 3pm. This event marks the Tees Valley’s step toward cleaner, greener travel as part of the Zero Emission Bus Regional Area (ZEBRA) programme.

Enjoy free activities including face painting, a balloon artist, a kids’ colouring station and plenty of giveaways throughout the day. Plus, the first 50 visitors to show a valid bus ticket on the day will receive a free Showcase Cinema Teesside ticket! Don’t miss the chance to see the new electric buses up close – including one wrapped in zebra-themed artwork designed by local schoolchildren from Linthorpe Primary, Clavering School and Bader Primary, with imaginative designs like “Zappy Zebra” and “Bus Lightyear” on display. The event will take place opposite Mamas & Papas.

Stagecoach now has 64 new all-electric, zero-emission buses operating across Tees Valley offering a quieter and smoother journey for passengers. Each bus offers a charging point at every seat and announcements of every stop.
